Jonas Spoorendonk is ABB’s global product manager for the ABB Ability™ Digital Powertrain and Smart Sensor Platform.
He was got caught up in the digital transformation in 2016 when, as general manager for ABB in Germany, he was in charge of the global product launch of the ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor. Shortly after the launch he decided to change his responsibilities and make this IOT monitoring solution his full-time focus, and he has been working in the cloud ever since.
Before joining the 4th industrial revolution he had a long career in ABB’s business line Motors & Generators, working in several countries and numerous positions in sales and management.
